Barring any odd issues. This will be a normal flight:
American Airlines (AA) #1256 ✈ 25-Aug-2017 ✈ KDFW - CZM / MMCZ ✈ FlightAware
Like Dave said.... They just drive around storms, generally... You can cover a a lot of ground going 500+ mph in the mid 30,000 foot altitude range that airliners fly.
737/guppy is a complex bird with many systems, May the force be with as far as a mechanical issue. Ya never know...
