Has anyone bought one of these off ebay?

I am thinking of getting one for my brother because he suffered a partially collapsed lung a few months ago. His doctor says he will be fit to dive in a few months but I thought it might be a good idea to start strengthening his lungs now.

Thoughts?

The idea makes sense but I'm thinking that his therapist would be passing them out if it were the right thing to do.

I'm a proponent skin-diving in open water or as pool laps as well as singing loudly with verve for diaphragm and breath control conditioning, read more here.

In this case I would steer clear of interfering with whatever professional therapy is being carried out. Maybe one of the doctors on the board will differ.
