I know this has been talked about many times - the debate of buying a proper diving undergarment, going down to the Army/Navy Surplus and picking up some used polypropylene or just wearing street clothes. They always seem to come out "Don't wear cotton, and wear something that wicks moisture away."
I was diving the Bare CT-100 under my drysuit, and found that it was quite a bit thicker than my buddies TPS Thinsulate Extreme - A lot thicker and bulky. I read the posts on here and decided to go the route of Softwear. I ordered the 1 piece 200g with socks. After I received it, I decided to try it on. It was so nice and soft I didn't want to take it off, even though my wife didn't think it was too sexy. On the first dive while suiting up I noticed that it fit better than the Bare, might have to do with the fact that when I ordered it I got an email within an hour asking for measurements so Janice could go make it - nothing like a made to order undergarment. The socks are much nicer than wearing my old ski socks, and I saw a difference in warmth and comfort underwater. If anyone is looking for an undergarment, this is one to seriously consider!
