Hi, I am setting up a rig with go pro and 2 video lights on a tray. Any tips with regards to how we determine the weight of the rig and how much "float" do I want to add to that?

I don't think you will need any type of floatation if you go with a traditional sola video light or anything in that category. Just move slowly...Keeping 2 hands on the handles helps with stability.
When I use my gopro with two Sola 800 lights on a tray, I don't put any floats on it and it's fine.

my setup is negative but i don't require any floats.... it's stable as it is and doesn't affect my trim
