UW Kinetics canister light rumors.

Someone told me that Underwater Kinetics is coming out with a inexpensive (relativley) LED canister light. Can anyone back this up?

Wonder if they will just do something like this? Apparently these have been pretty popular, so I am told. Not made by Pelican, but a mod kit for them.

Mind you, at $235 USD, you might as well save a bit more and get a full 10 watt HID can light. But, only my opinion. I have thought UK should do something in the way of an entry level canister, but perhaps they don't see a big enough market.

Very nearly as good as a 10 watt HID


Now, Im no light expert, but if they REALLY want me to believe that a 1w LED is "nearly as good as a 10w HID", they better start throwing some better pills my way.

The UK canister light was reportedly seen in a PADI magazine as an advertisement.

Before you go and waist your money I would wait for reviews. I have had nothing but problems with the switches in their lights.
