I rebuilt my Calypso J. Really, not such a great regulator. Exhaust valve is way tiny, breaths wet. Amazing how I used to love the thing but in the cold light of reality against my new Titan LX for example, it sux bad....

1+

I lost my beloved Calypso J during one of the many moves I made I my mid-20's, and was heart broken.... until I replaced it with a more modern regulator, and was instantly much less heart broken

I thought the Calypso J was the best thing ever, and I took it deep, did staged deco dives with it, etc. The only other regulator I'd ever used back then was a USD Aquarius, so I didn't know anything actually breathed better :idk:

As Nem said, the "cold light of reality" made me pass on Calypso J's I've seen on ebay...

Best wishes.
