If you have done any dives, anywhere, the global shark survey needs your data. Simple stuff that you have in your logbook. how many hours, when, where and how many sharks you saw. Most of your dives will have no sharks seen, thats OK - send them anyway.

With the data for Sabah Malaysia we have over 2500h in a national park and no sharks seen. That is the sort of number politicians understand. Lots of places round the world have a drastic fall in shark numbers but few places can actually prove it. For Sabah we can prove that there has been a 98% fall in reef shark numbers. With this data we have changed the Law!!!

If your dive logbook has dives from 5,10 or even 15years ago, we want you to send it.

You sitting in your arm chair at home can Make a difference. Send your data, get your dive buddies to send theirs, write in your blog, facebook, myspace twitter. Help us with translations, help us with maps.
