I also ditched the Apeks that came on my CCR and replaced them with Halcyon H-50D, zero issues.

I'm not aware of any blanking plugs for that first stage which precludes it from being used with the constant mass flow orifice present on the CCR in question. I use Poseidon first stages on mine since they have the only OPV in existence that seems to not leak but getting one of those plugged is rather annoying.

There are some. I have a mk17 with the same plug.

I have a blanking plug for that specific first stage and my CCR does not have a CMF orifice. It has a needle valve.
