Did you see it in the area of the Caribbean?

I believe it is an Autostomidae maculatus or more commonly known as (and easier to say) the trumpetfish.
 
They're in every ocean I have been in! They are world wide not just the Caribbean:D
 
FWIW this is exactly why common names suck. Trumpetfish and flutemouth are both used depending where you are (and also depending on my mood - I have them tagged as both in LR coz I never remember which one I've used LOL).
