Didn't someone once say, "There are no DIR divers, only DIR dives"?

I know this won't end well, but WTH...

If you take Fundies are you DIR?

What if you take Trimix with TDI/IANTD/ITLAH?

If a Cave 2 instructor takes up Sidemount, can they still claim to be DIR?

trolling trolling trolling...
Keep them doggies trolling...

Rawhide!!!!!!!!!

only an idiot would say that.

Yeah, I think it was some guy on another forum who uses a muppet Ernie avatar...seemed like a total accident waiting to happen!

That didn't take as long as I expected. It was a serious question BTW.

This question, which is asked periodically, is always met with derision. But there are certainly some people who think it is a valid question to ask -- my post-class e-mail debrief with David Rhea consisted of five questions to answer, and one of them was, "Do you consider yourself a GUE (which I assumed was the new version of the older "DIR") diver, and if so, explain why."
