I've found that if you dip your teeth in apple cider vinegar for too long, they can discolor.

My girlfriend is a jeweler with her own line. She noticed that a some trendy jewelery that the stars are wearing have shark teeth. I gave her a small meg tooth, and she made a stunning formal gold necklace with it. She used gold wire to wrap it, the wrapping part of the artistic look. Absolutley stunning presentation of a great tooth. I'll try to get a digital and post it here.
