Looks like it's currently 65 at the surface and 55 at 60ft. I wasn't able to find historic data, but I'm sure it's available somewhere online. It's comfortable diving July in August, imop. I guess that doesn't help prepare you for your trip though.
Scubland in Austin has a heated indoor salt water pool. You could do a private refresher courses in the pool before your trip. It's really affordable, and a good way to get reacquainted with your gear. They'll go over the basic skills with you too.
