I bet with a tiny bit of ingeniuety people could serve you "shark fin soup" with absolutely ZERO shark in it and youd still think its the best shark fin soup you ever tasted..Yes I agree, but very tasty.
As a matter of fact, if I owned a chinese restaurant Id seriously explore that possibility, given the price of shark fins and the corresponding price of shark fin soup.
Yeah, I just admitted Id gladly scam people who want shark fin soup...
