So, where did you dive today? :)

Nowhere..... Boats cancelled... Bad sand storms and HIGH winds.. We couldn't even take a "just us employees run", the coast guard ran all boats back......
nature sucks...

Yesterday I did a dive on an old WWII bomber sitting nose-first on the bottom of Lake Washington in about 140 ffw. It was a nice dive, with about the best vis you can get in the lake (maybe 20-25 feet).

Today I'm doing a skills refresher with a fairly new diver who just got a buttload of new gear.

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

Yesterday we played hooky and did two dives at Dutch Springs (PA)

87ft 38min.
63ft 40min.

Water temps were about 52

Then we drove back towards home and did a dive at Bainbridge quarry and after a nice 3-4 hour SI:

88ft 38 min.

Water temps were in the mid 40's...

Boy are my fins tired!

Yesterday we dived at Catalina's Casino Dive Park,
Vis was outstanding!

5th dive in drysuit, must have trimmed the neck seal too much, leaked!:shakehead:

Today was in a little local lake at a fishing resort..23' max, 54 degrees..about 40 minutes..
Found his foot valve for water intake, figured out some of his anchoring for the docks..some general playing about...not much to see...vis sucked...but I got to dive..that is what counts.

Does working at the dive shop while other people dive count?

I got to do the underwater structure inspection at a newly rebuilt marina for a local university.... Sludgy-poo and 5 inch vis. You know what I mean, if you've had the pleasure. But.... lots of nice baby starfish clinging to all the pilings and some cuttlefish on the bottom, along with a ray that just would not flee our intrusion. a little cool, but - did I mention the pooey-sludge? Yeah, I did. Wash and re-wash.....
