I wasn't trying to say Halcyon was doing anything illegal. I was trying to convey the fact that the way Halcyon gear is sold, is that it will be the same price no matter where you buy it. So if you wanted to pay less for the wing, to try E-bay. Sorry if I mislead anyone.

Thanks MechDiver. I was away for a while.

I like the separate STA better because I think it makes the tanks more stable when everything is attached. It also gives you a little weight near the BP.

I haven't used the integrated wing, but more than one person has mentioned the stability issue. Mine is rock solid.

I also like the weighted STA. I've got one from Scott that weights around 6#, and, like you, makes a very solid and stable mount.
