If you received your OW cert from PADI, can you take the nitrox course from another agency such as NAUI or SSI? I would assume the answer is "yes" but thought I'd ask.

You can take the Nitrox/ Enriched Air certification anywhere once you have open water cert from any major organization. You can also take advanced open water course from any organization as long as you have open water certification. The organizations on subsequent certifications dont have to be the same but they do have to be equivalent. In others words: I could take a PADI OW course, an ITD Nitrox course, and a SSI AOW course. I would recommend trying to stay with the same organization since there are some difference between protocol.
