I use the second one that was listed under Amazon. The buckle needs to be bent in a vice so that it is a little more curved and so that it won't pop open and cant catch on anything. It is a little bit of a pain to change weights, but having a rubber belt is better than nylon. You might also consider taking a hack saw and cutting slots in the center of the outside "ribs" of a few pieces of lead so that they can be slipped on the belt without taking off the buckle.

The Omrer belts may be fine for spearfishing, but I'd not recommend them for scuba. For scuba you're looking for several things,

  1. a different buckle that your waist strap.
  2. a positive closing device.
  3. a belt that is easy to remove with one hand.
  4. a belt that is easy to grip, even when wearing golves.
I feel that these criteria are best me by THIS ONE:

You might also consider the "SeaQuest" belt now available from Trident:

It meets all the criteria above and is really easy to tighten, with just one hand and no danger of releasing it whilst doing so.
