Does moderater decide when a thread gets a special icon such as a frown, troll, etc?
Who posts the troll icons, etc?

We may assign the Troll icon to a thread if we feel it's appropriate. 
However, you can assign (without any moderator assistance) one of the available thread icons to your own thread whenever you start one.

gotcha, I did not know we could assign our own thread icons, I was always curious as because sometimes they really did not fit the postWe may assign the Troll icon to a thread if we feel it's appropriate.
