I am afraid I'm still shopping...

I don't know if anyone is like me, but I actually have an excel sheet of "permutations" that I look at every now and then -- makes me sort things out.

It's starting to look like:
Cam: EPL-5 kit + EP-10
Lens: 45 1.8 and 9-18 + zoom gear
Port: Athena F100 dome (in preparation for a FE lens)
Other: Macro Lens holder and 2nd strobe (YS-02)

Totals out to about US$2,500 +/-

I am assuming (from my research) that the 9-18 will work with the Athena dome which was intended for the Pany 8mm FE.

The 45 is a great top side lens but not good for underwater. I tried it. This was before the 60mm macro was available.
You are better off with a kit lens over the 45. The 60mm is very very good.

The combo of the 9-18 & 60 with the Zen WA100 dome on the olympus housing is extremely versatile. No port changes and go from 100 degree view to a highly regarded macro lens.
