I've been enjoying shooting with a 30mm macro on on my EM-5-II (PT-EP13, standard port), but I do sometimes miss having a wide angle option (my other goto lens is the 12-50). Would it make any sense to put a wide angle wet lens on with the 30mm? I can accept some degradation in image quality, but if it doesn't work at all, I wouldn't bother.

Nauticam MWL-1 (Macro to Wide Lens) and Weefine WFL09S/Kraken KRL-09S are made for this specific scenario - 60mm FF-equivalent macro lens turning into a 150-degree fisheye. They're fairly bulky and heavy though, and you have to stop down a fair bit for decent corner performance.
Are these solutions any good for close focus wide angle?

I don't own one, so I don't have direct personal experience, but having a 150-degree AoV and focusing right down to the front element, I don't see a reason they wouldn't be.

Edit: Just came across this: https://www.instagram.com/david_hicks_wild_images/ - he's shooting with, among other things, Nikon 60mm + KRL09, on a D850, and helpfully, shots are labeled with gear and settings.

I wonder if that's the closest he can get with the 60+WA? Interesting though isn't it?

I don't want to take both ports (flat and dome) to Bali in March. I'm assuming that I can use the 30mm macro behind the 4" dome and if so I have all I need atm with a 9-18, 60 and 30 macro. Pity about the 12-40 pro as I would like to try it out.

You’ll use the 60 and 30 with the 4” dome?

That is what I am asking, not looking for questions.

You are referring to the Weefine WFL09S/Kraken KRL-09S lens not the Nauticam one, right? The Nauticam MWL-1 lens doesn't weigh that much and is optically excellent without the issue you mentioned.
