I would think about it more as a first dive rather than a test. Have fun underwater, and then I think you will do the skills right. Good luck!

lol. if by popping the champagne you mean popping some advil and celebrating means sleeping then yes I did do both!!!! lol. I'm very happy to say that I am now open water certified! Lake Rawlings was beautiful and I couldnt have been happier w/ my first non pool dive experiance.
