What Alcina said - patience, patience, patience... The working distance with stacked macro lens adapters is very close to the lens, very close. You have to approach the skittish critters very slowly, or they won't cooperate. But, when you do get a shot, it's rewarding.
 
Well I intend to get a shot of one of those cute little fishies in 4 feet of water at CCV.....forget what they're called....but they're purdy......I figure I can hover there for hours waiting. :) somebody might need to bring me some food though.........
