I dive the Channel Islands. Vis can be 25-40 ft.. Lately with the red tides fall out still lingering.... it just does not get much better than that. However in the past we have seen 60 ft. vis. This time of year..... fairly dark it seems. Today it was s little overcast for instance.

Outside of 4-5 ft, it sounds like you will be relying on vis/natural light.

I will look into getting some lighting.
