I realize this light probably belongs in the Smithsonian but.....

1) Is the a direct replacement LED for the halogen bulb?

2) Is there a suitable NiMH or NiCad battery to replace the gel battery?

Thanks.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the post. Are you certain you've got a Halogen? The MR11 is an HID-bulb light and the upgrade for it is indeed the LED. You can special order a NiMH Wreck Battery for your MR11. The part number is LT6328.

PS: A light upgrade is probably cheaper than the battery :)

Unless I'm not remembering an older halogen, I'm fairly certain you've got a retired HID.

LOL - I told you it was an antique! It is a 20W Halogen MR11.

Wow, got it. Well you can still upgrade it to LED as long as you've got the MR11 head (vs H10 adjustable head).
