Hello, everyone! I'm sorry for asking questions that have been answered many times, but here it goes:

I'm shopping for a BC. I have just finished my Advanced Open Water Diver Course. I only dive single tanks, for now, but plan to dive doubles in the future. 90% of my dives will be in warm waters.

I was intially considering the Zeagle Escape. It looks like a fine piece of equipment and I think it would suit my needs just fine for now.

But since these things are made to last up to 10 years, and I'd rather buy a rig I'd be willing to stick to, I started considering buying a backplate and wings system from OMS. I'm aware of the price difference.

I'm looking into the SS backplate with confort harness, STA and 45 or 60lb. bungied wings.

What would you do? Does a BP/Wings system really make that much difference or should I just go with the Escape? Will the 45lb. bladder be enough in case I start diving double tanks?

Thanks in advance, take care,
Fernando

I got the OMS SS BP, Deluxe Harness, STA and 45# bungied wing.

I dive singles and posibly small doubles in the future, I'm extremely happy with it, it's very well made and only high quality materials are used.
Plan on building another BP & Harness using an Aluminum OMS BP for travel.

Can't coment on the Zeagle since I haven't seen it, but according to my sources, Zeagle quality is good and they've been around for many yrs.

It would be better to compare the Zeagle BP with the OMS BP.
