Been abalone diving since I was 10 and scuba certified since 89 and dont have too many dive buddies. I am a certified Rescue diver through PADI My Dad is just about the only person I can summon to dive with, but it seems these days his 32 year old son is too active for him. Looking to meet other divers who brave the frigid shores of the Salt Point area. And Frequent the Monterey area where I tend to do most of my tank dives. Am jonesing to get into the water, Any takers?

Send me a PM and ill give you my number. I am up for Monterey Diving pretty much every weekend and Friday, and wouldn't mind being your buddy if it helps get you in the water.

All I know is I have a very limited diving ability on weekends this month. Between mothers day, on-call duty, and a trip out of state at the end of the month its not a good dive month. However I start June off the right way by getting my AOW cert the first weekend. Then it'll be time to start working on my rescue cert.

Im always looking for a reliable dive buddy. Do you happen to do any abalone diving up this way as well?

Haven't done any actually, then again im not big on seafood. I havent done any north bay diving, since it takes coaxing to get me to go up that way on my days off. (Live down here, work in San Jose).

Rob,

I'm from San Jose and dive both Monterey and the North Coast on a monthly basis. Check out my club's website for other like-minded divers at Welcome to northcoastdivers.org!.

See ya in the water!

How are you Ericson? Long time no see. I will be at Stillwater Memorial weekend with the usual gang of divers if you would like to stop by? I hope all is well with you and, let me know if you are going to be doing any tank diving soon, I'd love to tag along.

We are meeting up with a group of abalone divers the weekend of June 14-15 at Ocean Cove; just south of Salt Point. Come on by. The group is Sonoma Coast.
