Have any of you had the occasion to dive with/or watch a GUE Trained Diver who did NOT have good skills in the water?
Are DIR types the possible scuba equivalent of science nerds? I mean, we used to participate in lengthy and heated discussions as to the correct type of tape and techniques to wrap our glasses and then there is certainly a pocket protector dogma to be considered. N
On the other hand, I didn't read that as a slam on non-DIR divers so much as I did someone who would mark a deco bottle "Oxygen - 70" ...
and their behavior on the internet. LOLWhat differentiates the DIR diver is approach, mindset, and commitment ... those don't generally coincide with a class schedule ...
