Well i have 4 years of diving i don't go into any natural wreck only artificial wrecks, I do not go into the wreck unless i can see my way out and i don't go in wrecks that require me to use a line/ reel. :D

Four years of diving doesn't make you wreck qualified, IJS, training is your friend.

It all depends on the wreck.
A few years back two divers went in the Empress of Ireland. They stayed where they could see the light but one of them stirred up some rust from the ceiling with his exhaust bubbles. Vis went to crap, in going out they got separated. One followed a light beam he could see, it came from a porthole... no exit.

He panicked and made things worse. Only one came out alive.

Just caught my mis spell. So I guess I am going doving this weekend, instead of diving. Might be more fun.

Herd about a couple of people having that happen it happened to me on the Ancient Mariner but i was all the way at the front of the boat like one way in one way out and my buddy stirred up the Silt and i couldn't see anything so i was looking around and starting to panic and then i just laid flat on the ground took a few deep breaths checked my gauge had 1900PSI then i put it back then felt my way around and found the door (guess removing my mask in the pool and feeling the tile on the pool to find my way around was good training :D ) and i mentally knew that to the left was the other door then go straight out i did that came out and my buddy was freaking out but i am fine i used about 600PSI to get out but when we go to the surface my buddy kept saying dude i am so sorry i was like its fine i am not dead nor am i hurt so i am fine just be more considerate next time and when we get in the pool Monday i will tell the instructor to show you the reverse frog kick its your best friend in wrecks. :cool2:

Agree

Although to get in any real trouble, or do any pennetration on the Copenhagen, he would need a shovel!

Hmm i wounder.... dig a hole in the sand in the ocean :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

oh its penetration not "pennetration" lol

And there isn't a little voice in the back of your head telling you that you and your friend don't belong in wrecks when you tell this story?

Onespeed i am getting sick of your crap. Please cut it out how old are you? 30,40,50 Grow up okay. . . I don't care how much better you are then me at diving i dive because its relaxing not because its a fricken competition. I enjoy getting advice from more experienced divers but your just being a jerk. I am pretty sure i did not come to ScubaBoard to get told i should not dive because of one mistake that could have been life threatening that i was able to calm down and think and figure my way out. So please Onespeed grow up or just be nice no need to be nasty and say i shouldn't dive just because i am not as good as you are i am 16 i hit my limit till i am 18 okay?

I will continue to go in wrecks no matter what you say or anyone else unless its to deep :D

Brett, at no point in this thread did I ever tell you not to dive or compare dive skills, I just gave you a little reality check that you didn't want to hear. Seems to me all of the immature name calling is coming from you.
