It's not there any longer. While I don't know the specifics you can reliably assume it was removed at their request since the mfr's have full control of their own forums - we only help moderate there on request.

there was a recent interaction with a newer member that Bob just didn't care for the postings, and, despite our pleas, he pulled the plug....

Bob is working on setting up a Forum on the Force Fin website. He will let us know when it is up and running.

RH has it correct - after the Mods here would not remove the offensive posts and take action against the poster, he decided that he would not participate in a Forum that resulted in his and his friends/supporters being subject to such behavior.

Steve mentioned this briefly eaerlier, but I thought I would explain things again since there seems to be some confusion.

ScubaBoard moderators generally avoid moderating the manufacturer forums. The manufacturers themselves have the power to moderate their own forums. They can remove offensive posts if they so desire, but some prefer to deal with them openly within the posts. We leave the decisions to them so that they can determine for themselves how the threads are moderated.

Should Bob want it, the forum could be up and running in a thrice. I called him to discuss things, but he wouldn't return the call. It was sad to see it go.

I was wondering about that at well. Thanks for getting the word out.

Pete - (Proud owner of multiple pairs of Force Fins)

I have been watching for it as well when I haven't been able to find for the past month.

For now, I just drool when watching his Facebook posts. FLYING FORCE FINS are coming back. I am beyond giddy with excitement. I will be selling a few pairs I don't use to make my force fin collection...seem reasonable.

But if men can have 8 watches I can have 8 pairs of ff right???

NetDoc and Bob are talking and hopefully the Force Fin Forum will be back shortly.

They are running trials to see what it will take to make the fins made with Tan Delta material using the material used in the Hockey Fins. Hopefully it will not require any major changes in the molds and production can resume quickly.
