Just did 5 days diving the GBR, the Go Sport fins were so easy to on/off compared the the RK3 or Mares fins I use at home, had to pass them up on exit, so easy.
Good for travel, I will still use the other fins over the SP ones for local diving, the RK3 and Mares fins fit me better with 5mm boots.
Right 'tools' for the job.

I have done about 40 drift dives with my go travel fins and they have done well. I wear a size 15 so it Isn’t an option for me to compare them to others.

Size 15 o_O you don't need fins.

In the effort to provide field testing for the good of the scuba public I stupidly ran over my Go-Sport fins. I had put them on top of the tire while I unlocked the truck. So then of course forgot I had put them there. So I back out and feel a bump, hmmm. Then I pull forward and feel another bump, hmmm, wonder what that could be. Undeterred I back out again and felt another bump and then continued out of the parking area at Datura (Lauderdale by the Sea). Still curious as to what the bump may have been I look in my rearview mirrors to see a woman with two fins chasing after me down the road yelling "palmes, vous palmes" or something like that. I stop and a bit winded she catches up and gives me my Go-Sports proudly. Her husband/bf/SO also catches up and in the best redneck English I have ever heard thanking me for the parking space. I had motioned them to my spot when I pulled out.

So then, how are the Go-Sports after having been run over three times, apparently just fine. I used them the next day on the Wreck Trek and the current was sufficiently strong it flattened my mask to my face and kept sweeping my strobe arms back. I could make headway but barely. But then neither could anyone else. The Goliath groupers were coming in nicely.

I was considering the Go Sports but I will pass and get the Supernovas.

Why please? I have the Go Sports and they are excellent but I am now ordering the new Supernovas to try them out. I am interested to know why you are going for the Supernovas if you don't mind telling please.

Sure. I owned a Seawing Nova but sold it and got a Gorilla which is a bit stiffer. I have no experience with Supernovas but they seem to be a better version of Novas.

Ive had the Go Sport's for a few years now probably 300 dives in them. I will say that after using stiffer fins I am selling my Go Sports but compared to other fins of similar style/stiffness the Go Sports are fast when flutter kicking and once I learned to back fin they proved to get me back with power. Frog kicks are slow. I have travelled carry on only with them strapped to the sides of a backpack and everything fit nicely in the over head. My one and only complaint is they are too flexible so maneuvering in tight spaces can be done but requires too much effort compared to stiffer compounds.

I've done now some 10 dives in my new drysuit, and since in my old one the fins didn't fit (had rubber boots on) I decided to try sidemount with steel tanks and winter weights (I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered to switch the weights) and I was surprised how well they pushed me though the water. I expected they will buckle more under the weight, but they performed adequately. Similar to my old cheapo rubber fins, which now are sold. Since they're too big.

I still haven't had the chance to try them with a stage bottle, but like this, they're a good fin for sidemount.

So far, we have had been using our Go fins on the regular. We are getting ready to go to Cozumel for a week and I am actually eager to see how they do. I have spoken to a member of the scuba club that went this week and they are very happy with them. I will update in about 14 days!!
