    pressure gauge location

See, the problem stems from assumptions. I do not dive a long hose. I tried it and did not like it. I may consider trying it once again when I am comfortable with my gear. I do have a canister however it is mounted to my plate, not my belt. The guys I dive with have similar rigs but not the same...

    pressure gauge location

Sorry, but scootering is the only reason provided as to why on the left. The closest other reason was a closed manifold but was really a reference to which post it should be attached to, not routed. I guess the answer is because George says so.

    pressure gauge location

I understand that it is telling me the isolator is closed but still do not see the relationship between left and right. Oh, btw, my regs are scubapro so I cross em behind me out of the bottom reg port so in terms of routing, I could neatly route the gauge to either side. I currently have it on...

    pressure gauge location

Thanks for the info. While I am not looking to be DIR, I have adapted some of the ideas as I see fit. I posted here because I figured I'd get a real answer. I currently have it on my left side. As far as the right post being most likely to freeze, that makes the most sense to me as to why not...

    pressure gauge location

On a doubles rig I understand that the pressure gauge is located on my left side clipped to the hip d-ring. Why is this the preferred location (assuming I am correct)? I ask because should I be wearing a deco bottle, the gauge or access to the gauge will be inhibited. I would like to mount it on...

    doubles and singles regs

I am hesitant to only trust tables. I always use both on technical dives. Usually my computer clears before my deco stop based on tables dictates but it kinda gives me a comfort zone of knowing I've exceeded the requirement.

UWatec/Scubapro Air Z Nitrox transmitter question

I have the air Z Nitrox and was curious if it can support (2) wireless transmitters? What I mean is I have a dooubles and singles rig. Can I use One computer and two seperate transmitters with it (not used simultaneously)? I am not sure it will be able to see two different.

    doubles and singles regs

He's on a completely different subject. He's referring to an AI console computer which usually has the option of a quick disconnect. We are talking about the wireless transmitters.

    doubles and singles regs

The other option with respect to the ai computer is leave the sensor on my singles rig. The computer works without it. My doubles rig has an spg and I intend on getting a dive rite duo computer. So the AI computer can be my backup, plus it is only a single gas anyway. On my singles rig, the...

    doubles and singles regs

I currently have on my doubles a mk25/s600 and mk25/r390. I just picked up an r190 second stage. I can either add the r190 to my mk25/s600 or get an additional first and second stage and have a singles rig. The hose routing with the scubapro regs on doubles seems a bit more complicated to keep...

    doubles and singles regs

What do most do in terms of regulators for use with doubles and singles? I was going to get a seperate reg for singles but then I'd have to move my AI pressure sensor each time if I want full advantage of my computer. Then I thought about configuring my primary regulator assembly in such a way...

    better, scubapro mk2plus or mk16?

Yes, Thank you. I currently dive an s600/mk25 w/ r390 backup. I recently acquired another mk25 and am using it with the r390. These combined are for my doubles. Now I am left with the decision to either reconfigure what I need for beach and travel or get another inexpensive set ie. m16/r390 or...

    better, scubapro mk2plus or mk16?

I did not notice apeks in my post! Seriously, I have several scubapro regs and and setting up something for warm water and beach dives.

    better, scubapro mk2plus or mk16?

Which is a better reg or what are the benefits to either the mk2 plus or mk16? Thanks
