I have heard many good things about SUDS. As far as age(I'm 50)... I got certified a few years ago and have never looked back! For me, diving is a lifestyle and something I choose to do, often. Go for it...!

Nice choice... :) If you're anything like me, it won't be long before you have multiple set-ups. A BP/W is a versatile rig. I use one for minimalist kayak dives, deep doubles dives and everything in between. Stainless, aluminum and plastic backplates, I use them all.
