Ya know, there is no rule stating that you must kick from the hips. It is just considered the most efficcient. If your body and previous martial arts training has you kicking from the knees so be it. Use what works for you.
It wouldn't have been worth it ruining it for others.
Never ever worry about ruining it for others. It's all about whether or not you feel comfortable. When you let pressure from the rest of the "group" rule your descissions that is when you get in trouble. The rule should always be anyone...
I have two 80's I'd be willing to sell for 80 ea. and two 92's I'd let go for 100 ea. I'm in the Philly area if the drive is worth it to you. I don't feel like dealing with shipping. All for are current vis and hydro with yoke valves.
Glad you spoke up Lat I nearly had a heart attach when I saw that " tides are not a factor" line. R.R. bridge can be done at low tide but vis is terrible. Definatley must do at slack tide.
Best is to enter at the end of the incoming, let the current carry you under the bridge and turn right...
cold is anything below 42 degrees that's when I go dry, other than that it's 7mil. warmer than 60 shorty or shorts. I have gone dry in warmer water but only cause airtemps below 50
I can't belive you guys call 75 degree water brrrrr. I do that in shorts and a tshirt. You'all gotta take a trip up north someday. In about a month I'll be diving in 32 degree water.
unfortunately as far as your husband is concerned as I said above I'm flying in tue out on sat. 1/2 -2hr drive is fairly common for me. I'd love to hook up for a shore dive.
I'm going to be in stuart from nov. 30th to dec. 5th I'd greatly appreciate any info on sites or boats. If anyone is willing to do some shore dives with me that would be fantastic. I'm aow with nitrox certified. I've never done any warm water diving. Mainly jersey wrecks jetties and local rivers.
I'm hoping someone can help me out I used to have a searchable wreck and obstruction database that I downloaded from I thought the noaa web site. I lost it do to a computer crash and can't seem to find it on the net again. If anyone knows where it is I'd appreciate the link.
Thanks in advance.
Bill what do you consider deep enough for recreational diving?
Where I'm from in Pa. the guys I dive with for bottle dives I think our tanks don't always get wet. Does'nt need to be deep to be fun. I can't believe nobody does dives at the inlet or even the river. I'm not going to jax to dive...
