    Latex Wrist Seal

MEC sells BARE kayak suits that are almost exactly like the NEX-GEN scuba suits, so while I havent inspected their wrist seals for thickness there's a good chance you be getting a seal from same supplier as BARE gets. Some drysuit manufacturers offer different thickness seals anyway. The...

    Why you gotta love Canada...

Thats essentially it, he included Portugeuse Italian, Greek decent etc in that definition as well, farmhands to brikkies to fisherman (as long as they arent stealing Canadian fish). About a dozen years ago I was taking part in the year end AMA/CCS races at Daytona, the Biketoberfest races...

    notice to the Freaks ...

My first post here in a while as I too (like many on this page it seems) only read the posts on OFWF and this last week has been a writeoff. At least the deleted post was all in one post which was easily ignored, locking the freaks out did little to improve the situation as the topic is still...

    Customs Delays

I've never complained during any of my extra visits except for the time they took OVER AN HOUR with my passport and I was left standing and forgotten in the secondary check. It's really not my fault that Canada doesn't keep proper master copies of UK issue 1999 passports at its largest hub, they...

I'll concur with that, I'm a dual UK/CDN citizen and I've never had a really bad experience with US customs . Lyman Davis "block" question

Last time I was on the Sligo (about a month ago) there was only a javex jug submerged a few feet beneath the surface, even with GPS it took us a few minutes to locate the line. The DM I think mentioned there was a proper buoy on the line at some point in its tenure but not last month.

    Well......it happened again! :(

I was diving there today and spoke with a couple of the South Simcoe Police who are in charge of the area. They had a partial ID on the boat and were searching the coast. One officer said that it was unfortunate that no law regarding diveflags exists and he also had taken the watercraft exam...

    Navy to search for Arrow

As far as I know the only true Arrow pieces remaining are what the Toronto Aerospace Museum have in their project (partial cockpit and assorted pieces, they are fabricating everything they dont have) and I believe one of the Nova Scotia aviation museums have one of the Iroquois engines but it is...

    Navy to search for Arrow

I agree on the idea well trained and equipped defense force thou I'm not adverse to using the services in times of crisis. We dont need 100s of main battle tanks but state of the art SAR equipment (ie new choppers) and the ability to transport our own troops would be a start. As for looters...

    Navy to search for Arrow

Toronto Aerospace Museum has been constructing a fullsize Arrow replica for 5 years now without any (or at least very little) taxpayers money. They're about 60% complete so far. Its located at former CFB Downsview on the other side of the runway from DRDC (aka DCIEM)
