Where to keep SPG on a dive

I put mine under my left arm, and under the strap of the BC, it stays flush on my belly. I can just reach to my bellybutton and find it to have a look at it. No clips, no dragging.

How did you start SCUBA diving?

How big is the tank  I went diving in Fiji when I was about 10, 9 years ago (woah that went fast) Got certified a year or two later. Still only on 25 dives, but once I can afford my own BCD, Regs and tank (Classic poor uni student) I really want to go most weekends! Once I saw the...

Article: Don't Worry - It Will Be OK

That story was like a smack in the face. Wake Up! I don't realise that this sport is dangerous when I am ready to hop in the water, all keen and gung-ho. I think in the future if I'm ever diving with someone who is less comfortable than I am, I will tell them about Jennifer Simmonds, and the...

Everyone is saying just dive.. I'm only at about 25 dives atm (I'm a poor student with little time atm. But don't worry! One day I'll be a DM!! :eyebrow:) but I found that my AOW was perfect for someone with 15-20 dives. You are comfortable in the water, but need instruction on how to manage...

    Shark cage diving trip report

If the males are 5m and they're not "giant" compared to the females.. then there must truly be some incredibly impressive fish in that sea. Seven metres is the maximum size yes?

User Review - Nova Scotia (2012) 6.5mm Semi Dry

Hard to answer, just depends on the specific diver. For most, I would say that it would be OK. For me, I would get cold in 60F unless i had my vest/hood as well. (Probe neofleece, sooo warm)

16 Year Old Australian dies in Bali

Yeah he did blackout because he was doing frequent freedives, was obviously inexperienced and wouldn't know about the hypoxia stuff. Apparently he loved the ocean and snorkelling.. I hope and pray his family are coping OK. Sad for someone to pass so young.

Post Ankle Surgery Diving, Braces, Fins, ect.

Might I also suggest trying different fin kicks to see what's best - either flutter, frog or normal, full blade style kicks.

What to look for when buying used BC

Firstly, all straps on a BC re adjustable, so an approximate fit should be fine. Secondly, I bought a used BC over eBay about a month ago. Sent it back because it was leaking. It looked brand new and the price was reasonable. Luckily, the seller was a top bloke and I had no issues. Thirdly...

As an inexperienced diver (in comparison to other SB members, however perhaps not in comparison to my dive club members) I agree with you. Nice post.
