I have been diving for quite a few years now, and I have used most equipment but this doesn't mean I don't want to know what others think even if I can answer my own quetions. I didn't say I was an instructor I said I was going to use the equipment to teach or instruct open water. I am an...
Thanks for all your comments, I have bought the nighthawk and put about 20 dives on it already and find that it is a very good bcd. As for the pockets they are completely useless including the roll down one, but I don't use them so this isn't a problem at all.
I have a vytec and a d9 and never had a problem with the transmitter on either computer after many dives. You will love this computer wheather it's rec or tec diving your into. As a little test I setup my regs and synced my vytec with the transmitter and had someone breath air from the reg while...
Excellent information, thanks for your input. I have bought a pair and will dive with the this weekend and see how I go and then tell you my opnions as well as compare them to the quatros and powers I have.
Convert it all to din and use steel tanks as advised. Safe and last longer pluss higher working preasure and more air per tank. Here's a link to the part you need. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1300&item=7149355886&rd=1
LOL ok then.. I have the same set of regs and I'm not really impressed with the x650, as I have the R390 as an occy and find that it breaths better. I think I need to have it adjusted the x650 that is
LOL..Are you serious.... Come on does this mean I have to buy yet another set of fins. Damn and I thought I had the best there was. Well I'll have to trial a pair of avantis and compair them with my powers and also see how they go against the apollo bio pro xt's ;)
Are these the 2005 version of the volo power fins that we're talking about here. I have read reviews of them being fragile, and I'm worried now because I have just bought their latest model and am hoping that they had revised this issue. Are the plana avanti quatros better than these fins?
It is not a secret but you were the only one that asked so I didn't think anyone else wanted to know. Yes that is the information I was talking about. When I recieve my new model I will tell you the seriel number so you will know what to look for. It would seem that you already know anway. So no...
Ok thanks for your responses. I have a set of apeks and scubapro regs already this was just a cheap option to use in the pool for teaching and maybe as a backup set just incase. So based on this any one care to add to what has been said. It seems that they are fairly decent maybe I could just...
I have a scubapro mk25/x650 and an apeks atx 200 and a legend lx. The lengend lx is as good as the apeks at depth and better or easyer breathing than the scubapro. More natural as someone already said. So anyone who wants a brand new mk25 af and x650 with an r390 occy let me know.
Yes I had to pay extra to get a new 2005 model which i still don't have yet. I didn't want to send the unit back and recieve an upgraded 2004 version so I had to pay extra. Not to mention the cost of return shipping and have to use older computers while I wait. There is however a serious...
Anyone use these regs as I'm thinking of getting them as a backup set also for use in the pool as I don't want to use my new set. Maybe I'll use them for the ocasional dive too.
Thanks
Just wanted to hear peoples opinions and views on the nitec as apposed to say the vr3. Or are they both good, as I really want a computer that will do it all. Rec/tec with nirtox heliox tri mix etc etc. Thanks for your comments
Hey hoosier. I have had to send the unit back to suunto in canada for replacement and decided to pay an extra amount to get the new 2005 model D9. So at the moment I'm waiting for their new stock to arrive. The guys over there are helpfull and the problem is solved but I still have to wait for a...
