Husband and I will be spending a week in St Maarten in November...planning on diving 5 days...which dive shop would you prefer and why? We are both experienced divers...just going to some place different. (Have been to Cozumel, Bonaire, Kauai, Grand Cayman, Aruba, and San Andres) THANKS!!!

We're returning to Kauai for vacation...it has been about 5 years since we've been! Last time we were able to rent tanks at a resort in Princeville (I don't remember which one!) and go diving on our own. Is this not possible any more??? We made several dives up at Tunnels...then we dove down...

A little late...but if you still haven't identified it try going to Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) | Diving That Counts and post it on their forum.

We didn't have any problems getting on dive boats - with only a days notice...

each time it was reported to the dive shop...some of them had authorized personnel to go get them...the other contacted DOE...

I've started and I'll try to get that posted in the next few days...but, I think we're having a new grandbaby today!!! Maybe tomorrow!! YEAH he waited 'til we got home!!!

You're supposed to see octopus at night...but we're seeing them during the day. Almost every dive at Cobalt Coast we see one...and one of the dive instructors there said she has been here 4 years and is amazed at how many there are this year. She tells us there is one that has set up residence...
