i dont think folding the wing would cause any damage, thats how im doing my packing now for the wing actually, folding it in half and then in half again. i just make sure the hose and inflator is in between the folds to keep things safe.

i dont suppose if you roll up the wing this will cause any sort of permanent creasing on the shell or bladder?

question though on folding the wing. will this cause some damage on the bladder since its being folded? i have never done this on the long term (e.g. taking your gear with you on a long trip).

i tried disassembling it once and the thing i liked about it is the fact that you can fold the wing to pack it in a small bag. thanks for the other ideas

hi schott thanks for the reply. so if my image is right, were basically tucking in the wing and putting it in place with the bungies, sort of like closing a box with the lids to short... wont the folds though on the wing damage it? or am i just being paranoid since my wing is bnew... a picture...

i just got my bp/w so try to not mind my really weird questions, but i was wondering for those who have this kind of bc how do you pack it for travel? crates? just stuff it in the bag? dissasemble it and reassemble? just curious really...

its an eclipse...and it looks to be from the outer shell. but the more i look and inspect it, the more it looks like it came from the seam binding the out shell pieces together, something i dont really want to pull. ill have it looked at this monday... if its a defective wing ill get the shell...

ill give that a try, but first ill see if i can get it replaced...havent had the bugger more than 2 weeks now i got this to worry about!

ok i just got back home and when i took a look at my wing, for some unknown reason i have this tiny loose thread (you know the ones that appear when you pull on the stiches) on the seam of my wing. should i be worried about this?

ok my mask is pretty old, i bought it for snorkeling a couple years ago. its not low profile because when pinching my nose to equalize, there is a lot of space. ive tried some low profile masks and the silicone molds around my nose perfectly. im also wearing a hooded vest, and it seems tiresome...

I've personally tried a halcyon pioneer in OW, and loved it. Like the others have already mentioned dont forget about other non-H products like Oxychecq, golem, etc etc. Price will be dramatically cheaper, but if money is no bounds then get the rig you feel most comfortable with. Cant wait for...
