If you want to see lots of very large turtles, mostly loggerheads, go to WPB from late May through July. You'll probably see a few Caribean reef sharks too. We've only gone with Abernathy's Scuba Adventures, but I know others on the Florida club site use several other dive ops there too.

It's hard to take a thread about the expense of anything in Cozumel seriously.

What's conditions like down there? What is the Mizpah like? I've been wanting to dive it but have been unsuccessful so far.

My wife and I were there in June and during one of the SIs another diver asked the DM when he thought the best diving was. The DM said that he personally thought November was the best time.

I went diving in West Palm Beach for three days about a a month ago. Saw about a half dozen reef sharks in the 4-5 ft. range and lost count of the number of huge turtles we saw, some were easily 5 ft. long and must have weighed several hundred pounds. Saw several decent sized barracuda, 3-4 ft.

We flushed tp down the toilet at Plaza Las Glorias the whole week with no problems. I had never heard of this before. Now I understand the sign in one of the downstairs public bathrooms next to the dive shop. I thought they were just having problems with that one bathroom.

I was in West Palm Beach 2 or 3 weeks ago and we had some pretty good currents. I'd say they're comparable.
