If you are pushing the 50 lbs mark, make sure all your gear is dry. I weighed in once at 48 lbs. but, on the way back, I was at 53 lbs. Some people end up with some water in the bladder of their BC, don't forget that either. Have a good trip.

The bladder is on your back, it does not wrap around to your sides. In that sense, it is not as bulky as some jacket BC's. If you are on the surface a lot (pool, training, etc.) it will tend to lean you forward. Underwater, the Knighthawk is awesome.

?? The Papoose IS located about 40 miles south / southeast of Morehead City, NC. It lies in around 120' of water. I could give you exact depth but, I don't have my log book with me.
