you do have to install the usb drivers 1st... 32 or 64 depending on computer -- windows 8 requires a workaround -- check the aeris website for directions...

i'm still not sure exactly how it calculates the SAC rate though......the software that is

I've found the software to be very buggy and it has trouble recognizing the A300 is connected to my laptop. Now I'm having trouble updating to the newest Aeris software on my laptop.

the computer works just fine with SubSurface I found... just need the usb drivers installed properly.. haven't tried the computer with the SB divelog yet.

the newest version 2.3.3 is so far working fine after uninstalling prior version...

I'll have to back up my database and try the uninstall/reinstall...fingers crossed...
