alright, so I leave in a week for panglao for 2 glorious months of diving...and I was wondering if there are any reliable websites that have frequently updated weather reports for the philippines. Right now I use Weather Underground (Welcome to Weather Underground : Weather Underground). Weather Underground is great for tracking storms, sea temperatures, and general weather forcasts...but I'm hoping to find something with more useful local information, like typhoon and heavy storm alerts/advisories for local communities. Anyone?

The US Navy Joint Typhoon Warning Center is top notch, and accurate....

i second coya cap's reco on typhoon2000.com. the satellite image really helps where the typhoon will be hitting.

:boings:

So be it, FYI, the information posted about storm tracks/satellite downloads is based upon the USN JTWC page.
