Advice plz on a Wing BP Halcyon vs OMS

3. I have found a LDS that appears to:
- a now his stuff
- stock several brands and makes
- is willing to let me try out
- is located next to a fresh water lake
- is willing to make me a nice offer
- and to top it all off, the owner appears to be a genuine nice guy

I don't recall Halcyon saying it wasn't intended to be. It was intended to be easily user servicable. I still use these exclusively and have had zero problems with rust and whatever else people are complaining about. The important thing is to liberally lube them.

But the SS inflator isn't entirely maintenance free, and to say otherwise would be irresponsible, me thinks.

Just a data point,

I have a Halcyon SS BP and an OMS AL PB.

I use a Halcyon Eclipse donut wing for singles.

Except for the weight, can't tell the difference.
