I usually dive with 2 AI computers -- a Suunto Cobra (console on a hose) and a Suunto Vytec (wireless on my wrist).
I do as well - and I use the in non-gauge mode. I also don't have any issues with the Cobra hanging down anywhere - it's clipped off on my BC and is quite convenient for checking pressure, depth, time, temperature, and thanks to the modified firmware, the latest news, weather and sports.

One might ask why I use two AI computers?
I don't. Backups are good. If someone gave me a dive computer, I would dive with three computers.

I have been diving with a computer for the past few years and I prefer it.

But regarding the AI issue, I'm pretty sold on TS&M comments so the decision is now clear to me.

Thanks for playing! Tell them what they've won, Bob!
