The few time I have been to Roosevelt was with family. I remember looking at the water and seeing about 2 inches of vis. Not too unexpected as it is the first lake to catch all the water running off the mountains. With all the forest fires over the past 5 years there is little ground cover. Every time it rains the rivers flow mud. So just consider it to be a settling pond. Downstream you just have to deal with the alge. The canyons don't have the mud floor like Roosevelt does. And they have walls, if you have a boat.
