Arachnoids Cyst

Anyone heard of one of these preventing someone from diving? We've sent an e-mail to DAN and we're trying to find a specialist in our area, because my nephew really wants to learn how to dive.

Most arachnoid cysts are diagnosed as incidental findings on a CT done for other reasons. If the cyst is causing no symptoms, it should have no implications for diving.

I was looking at a thread from a few yeas ago when you and shakeybrainsurgeon was talking with a "Sue Sue" about hers. in the end she was released to dive, but I know all cases are individual, and my nephews parents are obviously concerned. I feel bad because I promised to pay for his training if he wanted to dive, and now we're kinda in limbo.
