Hey Theiszy,

Thanks for posting, and for the analysis.

One thought: An easy dive is not necessarily a safe dive. It sounds like there was some boat traffic at this site. And the two of you are working on developing buoyancy control. In very shallow water, buoyancy control is difficult because buoyancy changes quickly with depth, and if you make an error, it is just seconds before you hit the surface. It would be important to have a dive flag, or better, to find a site with less boat traffic.

Theiszy - thanks for posting. Peter's kind offer of a bit of mentoring and advice is gold, Ive heard he is a great guy and Im sure you will gain a great deal of help from him. Im sure your wife doesnt view you as having just tried to kill her - perhaps she might come along and meet Peter and Nathan when you guys catch up.

Best of luck to you both and thanks to Peter for showing true Aussie heart in offering to lend a hand.
