I'm a Fish!
I have been told of this show but never seen it till today. I found it ok but what the hell is with putting people that have never had dive training in the water..ice water I might add?
it just seems that they are asking to get someone killed or is it me?
I guess a nice safe dive show would be to much to ask for? I miss Deep Sea Detectives a little dry but I did not find myself hold breath to see if a guy would die from air loss, smoke, or ice coming down on top of him!
But stupid as it sounds I'll tune back in to see more. What are your takes on the show?

I am a retard. I can't get enough. I was talking to the captain of one of Mel Fisher's boats today (the Dare, they just hauled out) and his wife won't let him watch it. He sits and yells at the TV screen. So do I, my wife is much more understanding.

What are your takes on the show?

1) That OSHA doesn't have an office in Nome

2) Get an excavator on your barge and forget about diving if you really want to make money

3) The guys with excavators are good liars since they continually have $100K clean outs, yet are dead broke all the time.

According to one of the folks who filmed under the ice, don't believe everything you see.

It is a scripted reality show. Yeah lots of stupidity, but more bark than bite. The gold is in the TV contract not the sand. I like to think of it as SCUBA porn: unrealistic, addictive and after watching too much of it resulting in a bout of depression...
