Hi all,
I am very new at the whole underwater photography thing, so please bear with me. About 2 years ago, I purchased the Olympus Stylus 770 SW, since it promised to be such a cool all-around digital camera. I bought the PT-035 underwater housing, and have had no problems with it so far. It's been to Jamaica, Cozumel, and Catalina. But, I want more out of it. I've seen the more experienced divers with these big camera rigs, and I'm wondering what I can do to make mine better.
I've looked at the UFL-1, and am guessing that would help make a difference, but will it?
Do I need some kind of extra lens to add onto the outside of the housing?
Are there other things I can add to my little underwater housing?
Are there any settings that I can change on the camera itself, outside of the standard underwater mode, that will help reduce back scatter, blurry pictures, and the blue photos?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
p.s. if anyone has lodging, dining, nightlife, and dive recommendations for Belize, those are appreciated as well! Leaving for Ambergris Caye in 2 weeks...
