There are regular....well as regular as airlines to Bonaire get...scheduled flights from the US on Air Jamaica, ALM and there are connecting flights from Curacao and Aruba. AJ flies out of several hubs in the US, Atlanta being the one I am familiar with. ALM flies out of Miami, I suspose there are others, just not aware of them. The main town on Bonaire is Kralendijk (had to look the spelling of this one up..haha), Flamingo Airport (BON code)is located just out side of town. Neighboring islands of Curacao and Aruba can be gotten to on American Airlines, then shuttle flights can be taken to Bonaire. Most flights are on Wed and Sat, seems like ALM flies on Sunday. If you want info on Bonaire, try this web site http://www.BonaireTalk.com/newsgroup/messages/board-topics.html it's the best one going on Bonaire. Just looked at your user profile, I think Air Canada makes some flights to Bonaire as well. And best of all, only 6 more days and I will be there.

American Airlines also recently introduced regular service to Bonaire via American Eagle out of Puerto Rico. I'll be going in November for the first time, so I have no specific info or advice, but I've read mostly good things on the Bonairetalk site (except from those that missed their connection -- I have a 5 hr. layover, so I don't expect a problem, but you never know).

There is a weekly direct flight BON-ATL-BON ALM DC9 on Saturdays. It's the only way to be reasonably sure your luggage gets there. Or back.

American Airlnes via American Eagle has 4 flights per week to Bonaire. Air Jamaica from 12 US gateway cities, Via Montego Bay. Also daily Air ALM, mostly via Curacao. KLM from Europe, as well. Check http://www.infobonaire.com for complete info and airline links

Hi Michael,

Welcome to my other hangout, thought I reconized the name from the Bonairetalk board..

Thanks, nice to be here. Re the post about Atlanta. That flight stopped over a year ago. I think Air Jamaica now flies from there.

Just got back from Bonaire. I flew American Airlines to Chicago, then San Juan to Bonaire. Return was Bonaire to San Juan to Dallas to Minneapolis to bed!!!!!!!!-LONG FLIGHT
